Thomas Partey (DM) - 7/10 - Did his job well in midfield and one of his side's better performances in the win. Was taken off toward the end of the second half.

Declan Rice (CM) - 7/10 - Like Partey, he did his job well in midfield but contributed to attack more than the Ghanaian. Grabbed two assists after his two well-placed corners were met by Arsenal's centre back duo. Replaced halfway through the second half.

Martin Odegaard (CM) - 7/10 - Was his usual skilful and tricky self in the midfield. Caused plenty of problems for the Lyon defence and played some nice passes. One of two players, along with Ben White, to play the full 90 minutes.
