Arsenal 2-0 PSG: Player ratings as Gunners cruise past French champions
- Arsenal toppled PSG on Matchday 2 of league phase on Tuesday night
- Kai Havertz & Bukayo Saka first half goals sealed win
- Mikel Merino made debut off the bench
Forwards
Bukayo Saka (RW) - 8/10 - Nuno Mendes got the better of the duel early on, but after Saka got by PSG's left-back once he didn't want to know. The Arsenal man also continued his excellent goalscoring record in this competition at the Emirates.
Kai Havertz (ST) - 8/10 - Now that was a proper centre-forward's goal. The German opened the scoring with a great run and header on Wednesday night, and was up to his usual antics. He found pockets and retained the ball well, linking up effectively in wide areas, too.
Gabriel Martinelli (LW) - 6.5/10 - Martinelli didn't build on Saturday's performance on the output front, with the Brazilian being denied on a couple of occasions by Donnarumma in the second half. He did, however, never cease defensively and was a useful outlet late in the game.
