- Leandro Trossard rescued draw after Gunners fell behind in first half
- Bukayo Saka handed Gunners the perfect start
Forwards
Bukayo Saka (RW) - 7/10 - Gave Arsenal the perfect start and felt like he'd arrived on the big stage. Saka had Alphonso Davies' number early on, but the Canadian battled back impressively and arguably won the duel overall.
Kai Havertz (ST) - 5.5/10 - The red-hot German had little influence up top with Matthijs de Ligt matching him physically. Had a bit more joy when he drifted towards the flank with his work between the lines sloppy.
Gabriel Martinelli (LW) - 5/10 - Martinelli did not get into the contest at all, failing to beat Joshua Kimmich when matched up one-v-one. Still working his way back to full fitness.
