2. Arsenal 4-2 Wigan Athletic (2005/06)

Arsenal went in to this game needing to better Tottenham's result at West Ham if they wanted to finish fourth and secure Champions League football. A 4-2 win courtesy of a Thierry Henry hat-trick and a defeat for Spurs ensured the Gunners would be competing with Europe's elite in the next season.

However, this final day was more focused on saying goodbye to Arsenal's home for over 90 years, Highbury, ahead of the move to Emirates Stadium that summer. The Gunners did well by marking the emotional farewell with a victory.

The defeat of Wigan was also Dennis Bergkamp's last competitive appearance as an Arsenal player before his retirement at the end of the campaign.
