Title statement made

Arsenal's win over Chelsea was two-fold. One, it keeps them top of the league and two, it now puts the ball back in Liverpool and Manchester City's court.

As things stand, Arsenal holds a three point lead over Liverpool who have a game in hand (Gunners have a +13 goal difference). But the Reds face a tricky away trip to Goodison Park.

Whereas Arsenal holds a four-point lead over City, who have two games in hand (against Brighton & Nottingham Forest), and the Gunners have a +12 goal difference advantage.

The Gunners did what they had to do and now its upto Liverpool and City to match it.

Game on.
