Bukayo Saka (RW) - 6.5/10 - Saka got through the night injury-free... crucially. The winger didn't dominate and Bolton defended him pretty well when he entered the box, but it was his driven cross/shot which led to Arsenal's fourth.

Gabriel Jesus (ST) - 6/10 - Was desperate to get on the scoresheet but no goal arrived for the tireless Brazilian, whose effort couldn't be faulted. Jesus' time will come, and he had a role in Arsenal's fifth goal, but it's not yet clicked for him at the start of the new season.

Raheem Sterling (LW) - 8/10 - A productive night for Sterling on his full debut. His runs off the left were probing, but his best work came later on from the right flank. Undoubtedly has a big role to play moving forward.
