Winners - Ben White, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli

Depending on which side Jurrien Timber plays, his complementing winger will benefit a lot. As mentioned earlier, Timber is a defensive full-back who prides himself on his ability to defend solidly. Although he is able to bomb forward and overlap, he rarely feels the need to do this.

Therefore, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Ben White can all benefit from this. In attack, it will primarily be these three players who provide width for the Gunners, with Timber staying deep.

Loser - Jakub Kiwior

Just as he was starting to rack up the minutes, this is the last thing Jakub Kiwior would want. The Poland international has actually been doing a remarkable job at left-back, so I think Mikel Arteta will only drop him if necessary.

However, if Jurrien Timber were to come in at full-back, it will be a choice between dropping Ben White and Jakub Kiwior. There's only one winner there in my opinion and it's White. It does help their case that Timber, Kiwior AND White can play at centre-back, though.
