Arsenal legend Alan Smith urges Mikel Arteta to sign Premier League striker

The spirits are high at Arsenal right now, after they won two London derbies within the space of a week. Mikel Arteta is hopeful to win every remaining Premier League game, with three left for the Gunners. He hopes to do this, alongside the off-chance that Man City drop points in their four remaining games. Only then would Arsenal win the Premier League title.
In truth, things could have been in Arsenal's control, had they buried their chances in other Premier League matches. Most notably, the game against Aston Villa rings alarm bells here. It was a lack of an out-and-out centre forward who can finish chances which might have cost Arsenal in that home loss.
Look, I know that's an age-old cliche and some fans might not like it. I can already see the retort of "well, goals haven't been a problem for Arsenal this season" and that would be correct. In fact, no team has scored more goals than Arsenal in the Premier League this season (85).

However, the lack of a prolific striker has cost Arsenal in certain games this season. It is those micro-improvements which Mikel Arteta must make to upgrade Arsenal from a great club to a perfect club.
Arsenal legend Alan Smith urges Mikel Arteta to sign Premier League striker
One man who knows a thing or two about scoring goals is Arsenal legend Alan Smith. The former striker scored 86 Premier League goals for Arsenal and he seems to have his eye on one player who could have that same impact at Arsenal.
According to London World, Alan Smith has urged Mikel Arteta to sign Alexander Isak, claiming he has been very impressed with the Newcastle United attacker this season.
In his own words, Smith said: “Alexander Isak is an outstanding player and I’ve been very impressed with him this season. His finishing is top notch and he’s of a style that would definitely complement what Arsenal have already.... He’d certainly be a great signing for Arsenal this summer."
I must say, I do agree with Alan Smith on this one. Alexander Isak is the best possible option for Arsenal in the summer transfer window and I would love to see the club meet his market value.
Isak has Premier League experience, which is not to be undermined. He has been the star of the show for Newcastle this season and he has been ready for the step-up for some time now.
Do you think Arsenal will sign Alexander Isak this summer?
