Arsenal announce incredible Ben White contract extension news

Arsenal have recently announced the contract extension of Ben White. Previously, his contract had run until the summer of 2026 but Arsenal have acted efficiently to extend his stay in what they deem as a "long-term contract".
Although the report does not state the expiry of his new contract, journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano believes that the new deal with run until 2028, with the option to extend for another year. This means that upon the signing of the extension, Ben White will have a remaining four and a half years on his Arsenal contract.

This is great news for Arsenal fans. Ben White is one of the best players at the club and he's proven to be a reliable asset in recent seasons.
He was originally signed in 2021 from Brighton and Hove Albion, where centre-back was thought to be his strongest position. Last season, though, Mikel Arteta asked him to convert to a right-back role, to better meet the needs of the squad and he has undergone this transition seemlessly. Despite centre-back being his natural position, it is difficult to imagine White as anything but a full-back now.
White is a tremendous player which is impressive considering he infamously does not watch the game himself. He is comfortable in possession and his teammates trust him in difficult situations. A great defender in his own right but it's been great to see the Englishman progress well in the attacking side of his game.
This contract extension sets a great precedent for the club and it shows how much better they've gotten at dealing with expiring contracts. In the past, they have procrastinated this task too much, which resulted in discontent from the players and caused confusion in the dressing room. This just goes to show the excellent work Edu Gaspar has instilled since he became sporting director.
Speaking on White's contract extension, Edu said: "We are so happy to have completed a new long-term contract with Ben. Since Ben joined us, his contribution and commitment have been of such high quality. Our supporters love him, we love him and we look forward to enjoying Ben’s performances with us for years to come."
The supporters do love Benny Blanco, and it's clear to see why. Hopefully this contract extension brings many more great moments.
