Arsenal have reached the quarterfinal of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in 14 years. They did so in exciting fashion, as their tie against Porto went all the way to penalties. Although the Gunners maintained a 100% scoring record from their allotted penalty takers, it was goalkeeper David Raya who stole all the headlines, saving two Porto penalties to guarantee the win at home.

David Raya has had a very quiet breakthrough season at Arsenal. The reason I would say it's quiet is because nobody is talking about how good he is, they are only begrudging the treatment of Aaron Ramsdale on the bench.

But to Ramsdale's credit, he has never added fuel to the fire. Instead, he's been supportive of David Raya between the sticks, often being seen applauding his counterpart from the bench. There is no bad blood between Rammy and Arsenal, regardless of what happens in the summer transfer window.

Going back to the penalty shootout on Tuesday night, though, Aaron Ramsdale got himself involved in his own way. An Arsenal fan posted a video to X which seemed to show Ramsdale protecting the informational sheet and talk given to him and Raya from any potential Porto onlookers.

A class act from Ramsdale, who yet again showed his desire to watch Arsenal succeed, whether or not he was involved in the starting lineup. It really is no surprise, since the Englishman has always campaigned for the best out of his teammates.

Ramsdale was also heavily involved in the celebrations with the Emirates Stadium crowd following the final whistle, many of them staying late to watch the class show unfold from their team. Arsenal is a family, Ramsdale is VERY much part of that family.
