Arsenal fans are looking forward to the season ahead. Over the last two seasons, Mikel Arteta's army have come eagerly close to winning the Premier League title. In fact, last season, the Premier League champions were decided on the final match-day, with Arsenal falling short.

Arsenal handed major fitness boost as Bukayo Saka returns to training

One Arsenal player who deserves to lift the Premier League above anyone else is Bukayo Saka. The academy graduate is one of the finest players to ever come out of Hale End and he has turned into a first team staple under Mikel Arteta. Saka has come close to lifting the Premier League twice and of course, the European Championship twice. So, he will be eager for silverware in the new season.

According to an update from Arsenal's official website, Bukayo Saka has returned to Arsenal training, alongside Declan Rice, Aaron Ramsdale and William Saliba. Those four Arsenal stars were pictured in training by club photographer Stuart MacFarlane before the pre-season fixture against Bayer Leverkusen, which will be played at the Emirates Stadium and will be Arsenal's penultimate pre-season game.

Bukayo Saka's fitness is always up for debate. Not through any fault of his own but due to the fact that he is required to play every single game. Mikel Arteta is known to be pretty resilient in his use of Saka in the first team, often starting him even in games where he is only 50% fit. If anything, it is a testament to how important Bukayo Saka is in the Arsenal setup.

Last season, Bukayo Saka was the top goal-scorer for Arsenal in the Premier League, scoring an impressive 16 goals. For a winger, this isn't a bad tally at all and in fact, it was only beaten by eight Premier League players.

How many goals do you think Bukayo Saka will score in the 2024/25 Premier League season?
