Right winger - Bukayo Saka
Arguably the most talented attacking asset, there is no Arsenal team without Bukayo Saka. His technical efficiency and lethal nature make him absolutely crucial to the frontline, and he'll be looking to further build on 16 goals and nine assists from last season. It should be another exciting season for fans of the England international.
Striker - Kai Havertz
A stellar end to last season, Havertz netted a very impressive eight times in 12 games as a striker. It is exactly what he needed for his confidence and after helping Germany to the quarter-finals at the summer Euros, it looks as though the 6'4 forward has found his best position. He should remain Arteta's preferred striker for the opening matchdays, and hopefully, he will maintain his league form across the seasonal break.
Left winger - Gabriel Martinelli
It looks as though Gabriel Jesus has lost his position as starting number nine to Havertz, which means he is officially assigned to deputy duties across the front three. He'll add even more competition to Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard for the ranks at left wing, and it's effectively a toss-up between the three quality talents.
However, the sky-high potential Martinelli possesses is still waiting to be tapped into. The Brazilian netted 15 in what was a fantastic breakthrough season on the wings in 2022/23, but he struggled with form in the 2023/24 campaign that followed. If he is to bounce back and reclaim his credentials as one of the best wide talents in the league, now is the time, which is why he should be given the opportunities to start in his preferred position from the get-go.
