CM - Douglas Luiz. Having the big man in the midfield will be key to Arsenal being unbreakable in this area of the pitch. He is a well-rounded midfielder with a complete profile, massively helped by the development plan in place by Unai Emery. Therefore, his tactical versatility could see him perform a similar role to Granit Xhaka last season, which would be a massive boost for Arsenal fans.
CM - Declan Rice. Luiz' arrival would provide much needed cover to Declan Rice, who has been forced into completing five tasks at once during periods of this season. Rice is world-class, that goes without saying, but signing Luiz will be a welcomed boost to the Englishman.
CM - Martin Odegaard. As the captain, Martin Odegaard will be key to introducing Douglas Luiz to play. The two of them could feed off each other well, with the Norwegian able to provide cover as and when needed. Make no mistake about it, Odegaard will be an Arsenal starter for the long-term future.
