CM - Declan Rice. Playing as a deep-lying midfielder, Declan Rice will be hungry to achieve success next season. Much like Saliba, there is a chance that England could meet Spain in EURO 2024, so perhaps Arteta could convince Rice to use his charm.
CM - Bruno Guimaraes. It would be a near-perfect summer transfer window if Arsenal sign David Raya (permanently), Nico Williams AND Bruno Guimaraes. While this may be wishful thinking, the Brazil international arriving from Newcastle United would add a new dimension to the Arsenal midfield and as the versatile player he is, would maintain the balance well.
CM - Martin Odegaard. The skipper Martin Odegaard is prepared for the 2024/25 season and he is another Arsenal player who will benefit from a full preseason, with Norway's failure to qualify for EURO 2024. As the leader in this Arsenal squad, Odegaard will be key to unlocking the best out of Nico Williams.
