The Brazilian was at his harassing best in the first half, and while that diminished in the second half, likely due to the heat, Jesus showed what he can bring to the front line with his trademark energy, having him buzzing all over the field.
It remains to be seen if Arteta will bring in a center forward, but if not, Jesus will need to stay healthy for a full season.
And to do that, he needs to be available and play in pre-season, which is exactly what he's doing.
