Arsenal secured a 2-1 win over Manchester United with a first-half goal from Gabriel Jesus, and Gabriel Martinelli gave the Gunners the lead in the second half.

It is only preseason, but Arsenal claimed bragging rights of sorts with a 2-1 win over Manchester United at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The Gunners were good value for the win with the team's preseason now going up a notch as a couple of younger players in Nwaneri, Heaven, Nichols and Lewis-Skelly all gaining valuable minutes.

In truth, the result means little, more so the physical improvement that Mikel Arteta will want to see.

But the Gunners dominated parts of the game and looked far more threatening in the second half against a youthful United side.

There were plenty of things to take away from the game; here they are.

Nwaneri flashes...again

The teenager was handed a start against United and he showed his talentes yet again. He was quick and smooth on the ball with his movement in the final third a feature.

His pass to find Gabriel Jesus was sublime as he found the Brazilian to bring the Gunners level.

His star only continues to rise.
