Arsenal are looking to reinforce their back-line with some great additions in this summer transfer window. They have already signed Tommy Setford between the sticks and they are close to signing Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna. Therefore, the intent is clear from Arsenal to be a force to be reckoned with next season.

Now, Arsenal are looking to add Marc Guehi to their ranks. The transfer is nowhere near the stage of Riccardo Calafiori, but reports suggest that the interest is there from Arsenal.

Arsenal may offer Hale End graduate in return for Marc Guehi transfer

According to a report from Metro, Arsenal are planning to beat Liverpool and Man United to the signing of Marc Guehi. It's reported that the Gunners could even offer Eddie Nketiah as part of a swap deal, with the Hale End graduate already linked with a move away from Arsenal this summer anyway.

Marc Guehi is one of the breakout defenders, having made a name for himself on the continent's stage at EURO 2024. However, the truth is that Guehi has always been a brick at the back for Crystal Palace, hence why they have kept their praise quiet to not attract interest from other clubs.

This summer, though, Crystal Palace are prepared for offers from other clubs. Whether or not they wish to entertain those offers is a different story, but the interest will certainly be there for Marc Guehi. It's worth noting that Palace have already lost Michael Olise to Bayern Munich, so they will be more cautious about their other star players.

Marc Guehi is a press-resistant defender who is composed at the back. He is not the type to go lunging into tackles but when need's must, he has proven a great ability to put his body on the line.

Offsetting Eddie Nketiah, which was likely to happen this summer anyway, and signing a young defender approaching the height of his game, would be welcomed by the Arsenal supporters.

Do you think Marc Guehi would make it at Arsenal?
