1. Leandro Trossard - £7.0 million

With 17 goals and 2 assists in 46 appearances, regarded as one of the best finishers in the squad, what in the world is Leandro Trossard doing on this list?!

Yes, he's a fantastic player, and he's consistent at that too. But, as great as he is, he only played an average of 48 mins per appearance in the league last campaign, and there is a decent chance his minutes are even further reduced next season.

Gabriel Martinelli remains one of the better prospects of the Arsenal squad, and though he struggled for output last season, his potential ability is undeniable. Next season could be his opportunity for rejuvenation. Moreover, Gabriel Jesus' minutes are effectively scattered across the front three, so he can also challenge for similar opportunities to what Trossard would be looking for. Finally, the links to Nico Williams and Pedro Neto in the past imply a long-time interest in a wide man profile; Arteta could go on to add further depth this summer should an opportunity arise.

All in all, the competition has escalated for Trossard's preferred positions, and the 29-year-old could be subject to a lot of rotation. From an FPL perspective, it's probably best to steer clear from the Belgian.
