Arsenal's priorities at end of 2024 summer transfer window - ranked
- The Gunners still have pressing matters to attend to before the window slams shut
2. Sell Ramsdale and sign a replacement
Aaron Ramsdale was expected to leave Arsenal this summer after being dropped for David Raya last season but still finds himself at the club in the final days of the transfer window. If he warms the bench for another year, his market value will drop significantly so for the sake of receiving a good fee and Ramsdale's career, the club must try find a buyer before the window shuts.
Wolves are reported to have made an initial loan offer with an option to buy and while the finances would be difficult for the Midlands side, they are in ongoing talks over a deal with Arsenal.
If Ramsdale does leave, the Gunners will need to sign a replacement and seem to already have one lined up. Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia is said to have already agreed personal terms with Arsenal so this will not be an issue should a move materialise.
Garcia is the priority target to replace Aaron Ramsdale but a bid depends on the England 'keeper's future.
