Arsenal's priorities at end of 2024 summer transfer window - ranked
- The Gunners still have pressing matters to attend to before the window slams shut
3. Sell unwanted players
Arsenal still have hold of several players that have been deemed surplus to requirements. Kieran Tierney, Eddie Nketiah, Jakub Kiwior and Reiss Nelson are all reported to be up for sale heading into the final week of the transfer window.
Nottingham Forest are in talks to sign Nketiah after having a £25m opening bid rejected by the Gunners. Leicester City have been linked with Nelson throughout the summer but are uncertain on a deal due to his high wages.
Italian clubs showed interest in Jakub Kiwior earlier in the window but there have been no new updates regarding this. Kieran Tierney is currently injured so is unlikely to have any suitors in the market.
Regardless of ongoing deals and a lack of interest, Arsenal must sell at least one or two of these unwanted players to ensure there is not too much dead wood in the squad. Players that are not playing regular football or not featuring at all could be bad for morale as they may no longer feel welcome at the club.
