Arsenal have reached an agreement to sign Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna and are just waiting for the final details to be agreed for the deal can be fully sealed.

As a right-sided defender, William Saliba's place in the Arsenal defence will not be under threat with the introduction of Calafiori.
Having been named in the UEFA Euro 2024 team of the tournament following a series of impressive displays for France, Saliba will be hoping to have yet another brilliant season with the Gunners.
