2. Happy to be a backup

Despite being Bournemouth's first choice goalkeeper for two seasons, Neto is likely to be more than happy to operate as a backup option at Arsenal. He previously held this role during his time at Juventus and Barcelona.

The Brazilian made just 22 appearances during two seasons at Juventus and played 21 times for Barcelona over three campaigns. Plenty of these games came in domestic cups and European competitions, in which he is likely to appear for Arsenal.

Neto will be aware of the difference in quality between himself and David Raya so should be happy to play second fiddle to the Spaniard. He will no doubt earn appearances in the cup competitions.
