The 2023/24 season marks Arsenal's return to the Champions League, a competition they have not featured in since Arsene Wenger was at the club. Although they have spent some time away, the Gunners have a great history in the competition. Widely-regarded as the best player in Arsenal's history, the master Frenchman was bound to top this list... By quite some distance, too.

Thierry Henry netted a total of 35 goals for Arsenal in the Champions League, which is a truly remarkable and hard-to-beat statistic. The most notable goal Henry scored in the Champions League came when Arsenal beat Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, with Henry showing tremendous skill to beat some legendary defenders off the ball and slot home in his trademark fashion.

Thierry Henry also won the Champions League later in his career but this was while he represented Barcelona.
