5. Freddie Ljungberg (14 goals)

We'll end this list on an absolute fan favourite and he is Mr Ljungberg. Not only was he a pivotal member of the Arsenal Invincibles, but he also made quite the mark in the Champions League despite never winning the competition.

The Swedish international who has since retired, scored an impressive 14 times in the competition, making him the fifth highest goal-scorer for Arsenal in Champions League history.

After he retired in 2014, Freddie Ljungberg came back to help the club with managerial roles within the youth academy. He even stepped up to the mark to fill in as caretaker manager before Mikel Arteta was appointed, showing he will always be there for Arsenal to count on.

Boasting his signature red hair at the time, Ljungberg's most memorable moment in the Champions League was finishing off a perfect Dennis Bergkamp assist, as Arsenal won 3-1 against Juventus.
