Arsenal told Pedro Neto asking price ahead of potential summer transfer
- Arsenal are long-standing admirers of Wolves winger Pedro Neto
- Neto is set to move on from Molineux in the summer
- Array of Premier League clubs interested
Arsenal will have to pay £60m to sign Wolves winger Pedro Neto this summer, according to reports.
The Gunners have a long-standing interest in Neto, but a move is yet to materialise. The winger suffered a devastating knee injury in April 2021 which stunted his progress after bursting onto the scene at Molineux, but he's rediscovered his most destructive form under Gary O'Neil this season.
Neto has ten goal contributions in 15 Premier League appearances.

Wolves have flirted with breaking the Premier League's Profit & Sustainability rules which Everton and Nottingham Forest both breached. However, they've made over £100m in profit from player trading this season after selling Matheus Nunes for a club-record £53m fee last summer.
Thus, Wolves don't necessarily need to sell prized asset Neto, although the explosive winger is expected to move on at the end of the season. According to the Evening Standard, Wolves are set to demand £60m for Neto's sale.
The 23-year-old will still have three years left on his deal in the Midlands when the summer transfer window opens.
Thus, Wolves are well within their rights to demand a hefty fee for such a gifted performer. His showings this term have caught the eye of many following initial reservations over whether he could return to his pre-injury best. Arsenal are one of several Premier League teams monitoring the winger, with the likes of Tottenham, Manchester United, and Liverpool all supposedly interested.
After their quiet January window, the Gunners are poised to be busy this summer. The club are set to sign a new striker and winger before the start of the 2024/25 campaign. An array of #9s have been linked to the north London club, with Neto and Athletic Club's Nico Williams being earmarked as potential winger options.
Arsenal have long required superior depth behind superstar Bukayo Saka.
