Mikel Arteta must pay £51m to sign Dusan Vlahovic

Popular Italian media outlet Tuttosport have covered a topic which concerns Arsenal recently. Tuttosport addressed Arsenal's renewed interest in Dusan Vlahovic, a player who they showed a keen interest in throughout the 2022/23 season but failed to sign. It is reported that Vlahovic is of interest to Arsenal again but Juventus will only consider offers of at least £51m.

Needless to say, the pressure for Arsenal to sign a striker in the summer transfer window is mounting. It was revealed that Mikel Arteta wouldn't invest too heavily in this position, given the recent form of Kai Havertz. However, the abysmal attacking display in Munich should have demonstrated to Arteta that he needs to sign a central striker who acts as their talisman.

Wolves consider Aaron Ramsdale as Jose Sa replacement

Another story which will dictate the summer transfer window for Arsenal is the destination for Aaron Ramsdale. It seems inevitable that Mikel Arteta will sign David Raya permanently since Ramsdale has been abandoned from the Arsenal lineup this season. However, the Englishman needs to move somewhere he is guaranteed game-time.

According to The Sun, Wolves could present that opportunity to Ramsdale. It has been revealed that the West Midlands side Wolverhampton Wanderers has shortlisted Aaron Ramsdale as a contender to replace Jose Sa, should he leave the club come the end of the season.

At Wolves, Ramsdale would become the number one option, meaning he could facilitate his push to start for England.

Arsenal are interested in Ferland Mendy of Real Madrid

The left-back position has been one which has plagued Arsenal this season. Admittedly, the season-long injury to Jurrien Timber has not helped this.

That said, Mikel Arteta feels like this is a position which is worth strengthening come the summer transfer window. According to a report from L'Equipe, Arsenal have joined the race alongside Liverpool and Manchester United to sign Ferland Mendy from Real Madrid.

Mendy is linked with a move away from the Bernabeu this summer, given the rumoured pursuit of Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies which Real Madrid are involved in, which would render Mendy as second-best.
