Arsenal vs Leicester: Preview, Prediction, Lineup & How to watch on TV
- Arsenal take on Leicester at the Emirates in the Premier League on Saturday
- Gunners remain unbeaten in the league after 2-2 draw at the Etihad
- Leicester expected to be fighting against relegation
Can we have more of that midweek serenity this weekend, Arsenal?
Following the stress of Sunday's draw at the Etihad, the Gunners cruised into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a 5-1 victory over third-tier Bolton. A trip to Championship strugglers Preston beckons for Mikel Arteta's Hale Enders.
The kids proved themselves to be more than comfortable at the senior level on Wednesday night, but whether Arteta trusts any of the club's young guns this weekend is another matter. Leicester may be one of six winless Premier League teams through five games, but they're undoubtedly a major step up from Bolton.
Arsenal are unbeaten in the top flight and just a couple of points adrift of Manchester City, who travel to Newcastle this weekend, at the top of the table despite their tough start to the new season. The Gunners' schedule lightens up domestically before the October break, with everybody expecting six points from a possible six.

Arsenal vs Leicester Head-to-Head Record
There was once a time when Leicester had our number with Brendan Rodgers at the helm. Jamie Vardy used to prey on frail and vulnerable Arsenal defences, and the Foxes won four of the six Premier League meetings between May 2018 and October 2020. Since then, though, Arsenal have won five-straight against the East Midlanders. Four of the five wins have come by two goal margins, with Arteta ensuring the club ditched Leicester as a bogey team.

Arsenal Team News
There are fresh injury concerns heading into Saturday's game, with Arteta confirming that David Raya, Ben White, and Jurrien Timber are all doubts for the fixture. While the players are only carrying minor knocks, they could miss out this weekend with a Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain upcoming.
Neto is on standby if Raya isn't deemed fit.
Martin Odegaard provided a fitness update in the week but he's still a few weeks away from returning. Mikel Merino, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kieran Tierney, and Oleksandr Zinchenko are the other players sidelined.
Leandro Trossard returns from his one-game suspension, and there may be room in the starting XI for 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri off the back of his two-goal performance against Bolton.
Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Leicester: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Partey, Rice, Nwaneri; Saka, Havertz, Martinelli.
Leicester team news
Steve Cooper opted for a fairly strong team in midweek as Leicester squeezed past Walsall on penalties in the Carabao Cup, but we should see further rotation on Saturday.
Vardy, Wilfred Ndidi, Harry Winks, and Jordan Ayew are among the players that will come into the side at the Emirates. Stephy Mavididi, goalscorer against Everton last weekend will replace Bobby De Cordova-Reid down Leicester's left.
The visitors are still without striker Patson Dake due to an ankle injury, while Jannik Vestergaard is also expected to be out until after the October international break with a similar issue.
Predicted Leicester lineup vs Arsenal: Hermansen; Justin, Faes, Okoli, Kristiansen; Winks, Ndidi; Ayew, Buonanotte, Mavididi; Vardy.
Arsenal vs Leicester Score Prediction
I'm not buying the Arteta injury talk. Arsenal are going to have a strong team out this weekend, and Leicester are set to feel their wrath.
Tough fixtures and silly red cards means we're yet to see this Gunners team in full cry at the start of the new season. They've got a chance to unleash some frustration against a pretty poor Leicester team on Saturday.
Expect the hosts to make up for lost time and produce an attacking exhibition in front of the Emirates faithful. The visitors are unlikely to give this supreme backline many issues going the other way.
Prediction: Arsenal 4-0 Leicester
