3. Get a good performance from Gabriel Martinelli
Team dynamics have evolved to suit Gabriel Martinelli - now we need him to take advantage.
In a welcome change from his previous isolation, the 22-year-old is popping up near the box again and finding himself in better positions to get on the scoresheet (with partial thanks to an awful Crystal Palace defence).
But our midweek trip to Nottingham suggested that his performance levels can still improve. 78 minutes at the City Ground saw Martinelli remain largely quiet and he failed to truly test the Forest backline, while his delivery often let him down in offensive moments.
Normally, a below-par display might allow Leandro Trossard to return at left wing, yet Martinelli boasts more electrifying pace which could hurt Liverpool on the counter and, as always, his dribbling ability will cause Trent Alexander-Arnold a lot of problems. His knack for scoring against Liverpool might come in handy too.
Although 2022/23 Martinelli has still not emerged this campaign, he possesses the talent to win this game on his own.
