Arsenal defeated Wolves 2-0 at the Emirates to get its season off to a winning start.

Kai Havertz is Arteta's star up front
Despite Gabriel Jesus shining in his preseason outings, Arteta reverted to having Havertz lead the line against Wolves, and it proved to be the right decision.
The German was tough to deal with all game, and his header from Saka's curling cross was superb and so to was his link up play with Arsenal's No. 7 in the first half.
It remains to be seen if a striker will come in during the final weeks of the transfer window, but Havertz up top is definitely working for the Gunners.
