Can you smell that? Premier League football is nearly upon us, and Mikel Arteta's Arsenal have a fantastic opportunity to hit the ground running when they welcome Gary O'Neil's Wolves to the Emirates.
After a preseason schedule that saw the Gunners post several wins and look reasonable while doing it, now comes the "real" stuff as every kick and tackle means something.
With the Gunners looking to finally usurp Manchester City, getting off to a winning start is paramount, but what should we be looking for in Arsenal's contest against Wolves?
Is Gabriel Jesus the answer up forward?
Now fully fit and having put his knee issues behind him to the point where he could enjoy a full preseason, Gabriel Jesus has hit the ground running.
He was back to his menacing best in the preseason and looked crisp and sharp in his movement leading the line. While Arsenal might still add a forward before the transfer window slams shut, Jesus has a chance to reestablish himself as a genuine threat up top.
And putting in a good showing against Wolves is job No. 1.
