Arsenal claimed a gutsy 0-0 draw away at Atalanta with David Raya being a big reason why.

It wasn't pretty, and it wasn't easy on the eye, but Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be somewhat pleased to escape Bergamo with a point to get the Gunners' Champions League campaign off to an okay start.

With the Gunners playing Manchester City at the weekend, Arteta was all gas, no brakes and his team can consider themselves fortunate to come away with anything against Atalanta.

The story of the game was David Raya's penalty save and his even better follow-up to deny Mateo Retegui from the spot.

Gabriel Martinelli had a couple of golden chances to give Arsenal the lead but couldn't convert and in truth, the Gunners were lucky not to be beaten on what was a poor night.

He's becoming a colossus in goal.
