Jorginho (CM) - 5.5/10 - Struggled against Jamal Musiala early on, resorting to fouls. Offered some progression with the ball, but woes in transition were laid bare.

Declan Rice (CM) - 5/10 - Drove into space imperiously on occasions, but this was not the dominant midfield performance supporters were hoping for. Rice has not been at the races in recent outings.

Martin Odegaard (CM) - 6/10 - Felt Odegaard had more of an impact without the ball in this one. Buzzed around, but I thought Konrad Laimer did a fine job of limiting him to dazzling moments in non-threatening zones.
