IN: Takehiro Tomiyasu - OUT: Jakub Kiwior
Oleksandr Zinchenko played very well when he came off the bench in the 1st leg. However, to start the 2nd leg, Mikel Arteta must go with Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Tomiyasu is the best defensive left-back available to Arsenal, particularly in 1v1 situations. Leroy Sane had a field day against Jakub Kiwior in the first leg, making him Arsenal's weakest link. Therefore, Tomiyasu must play the second leg.
Needless to say, Zinchenko is a great option to have from the bench but from the offset, Arsenal want to have that left side on lockdown, especially after the 1st leg. As mentioned, Tomiyasu has the capabilities to isolate Leroy Sane, so he should start in this match.
Tomiyasu hasn't started a match for Arsenal in 2024 so it might seem like a big ask but if anyone can step up to the mark, it's Tomi.
