Ben White signed for Arsenal just under three years ago and many doubted if he was able to play at the top level having joined from Brighton & Hove Albion for a whopping £50million. After a questionable debut in a 2-0 defeat to Brentford, White slowly became an important fixture in Mikel Arteta's team.
In order to accommodate William Saliba's return to the club in 2022, White was shifted out to right back by Mikel Arteta. Given the Gunners' tendency to use attacking full backs, many questioned if he was the correct option for this position, but he soon began to prove them wrong.
