Bukayo Saka (RW) - 10/10 - It's well past time more people acknowledged Arsenal have a genuinely world-class player in Saka. The 22-year-old ravaged Burnley with two goals, the second of which summed up Saka's game brilliantly. Some nifty control with both feet followed by a thumping, accurate finish.
Saka should already have had a couple of assists on his stat sheet from the first half. Unfortunately, Trossard's air shot and Haverz being caught on his heels prevented the winger from adding to his creativity tally.
No matter, because relentlessness is Saka's best quality. He'll keep attacking until he delivers end product.
Gabriel Martinelli (LW) - 8/10 - You can explain the difference between Saka and Gabriel Martinelli's development with one word. Consistency. While Saka can be counted on for goals and assists, Martinelli tends to produce only in patches. It's a strange contrast, considering the Brazilian is equally as talented as his fellow flying winger.
Martinelli showcased his ability by teeing up Odegaard early doors. It looked like there was more to come, because Martinelli routinely had the beating of Burnley full-back Lorenz Assignon. Still, Martinelli once again left us asking for more.
Leandro Trossard (ST) - 8/10 - He ought to have bagged a hat-trick, but two angry swipes at fresh air summed up a mercurial day for Trossard in front of goal. Arsenal's jack of all trades up top didn't get on the scoresheet until the 66th minute. That goal, plus winning the penalty were just rewards for Trossard's subtle movement and clever timing. Who needs a true striker, anyway?
