European superpower inquires about signing Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal

At this stage of the transfer window, it is concerning that Aaron Ramsdale's future is not decided. The only thing which can be said for sure is that he won't be the starting goalkeeper for Arsenal, considering David Raya was signed on a permanent deal throughout summer. Now, the England international must find a new club before the summer transfer window closes, to guarantee game-time.
With many European leagues opening back up again this week, Ramsdale would be at a major disadvantage if he doesn't make a move before the leagues commence again. In fact, some Arsenal fans are even beginning to think that he might remain an Arsenal player for the 2024/25 season.
However, Aaron Ramsdale may have been handed a get-out-of-jail-free-card.

According to a report from Sky Sports, Ajax are interested in signing Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal. It is believed the Amsterdam-based club has inquired about signing Aaron Ramsdale and they would prefer to sign him on loan. However, they were informed by Arsenal that a permanent sale is preferable, so they are now discussing their options.
Arsenal and Ajax have a great relationship in the transfer window. In recent transfer windows, the likes of Jurrien Timber and Tommy Setford have made the move from Amsterdam to London. It is hoped, therefore, that the relationship will continue and a compromise can be met for Aaron Ramsdale to transfer in the other direction.
Needless to say, Ajax would be the perfect club for Aaron Ramsdale to find his rhythm again. They are known to be an incredible developmental club and Ramsdale would be surrounded by experienced professionals who know how to make players reach their potential and even exceed it.
Ramsdale is a loved and respected figure at Arsenal. No fan would like to see him leave and in an ideal world, he wouldn't be forced to leave. However, the opposite scenario would be more painful to witness, since Ramsdale is fighting a losing battle with David Raya overtaking him in the pecking order. Regardless what happens, Arsenal fans wish Aaron Ramsdale nothing but the best.
