Arsenal have a great team under Mikel Arteta but it hasn't come easy. The Spanish boss has needed to be resilient and cut-throat in some of his decision making in recent years. Those decisions, while they may have seemed small at the time, have added up to make the great team fans GET to watch every week these days, rather than HAVE to watch.

One of those decisions which wasn't as tough to make was waving off Alexandre Lacazette. Well, it was an easy decision to make because the Frenchman actually left on a free transfer.

Sure, he had some great performances in an Arsenal shirt but the manner in which he left the club left a bitter taste in Arsenal fans' mouths. After all, he was supposed to be the "captain".

Former Arsenal captain tipped for Saudi Pro League move

Well, watching his career path might be interesting for Arsenal fans. So far, he has only played for two clubs throughout his career - Arsenal and Lyon. According to a report from L'Equipe, Alexandre Lacazette may add a third club to his portfolio come the end of the season, as he is tipped to join the Saudi Pro League.

The Saudi Pro League is an emerging league and home to some of the best names in football. Of course, they are yet to attract any world-class players at the peak of their powers, but they do attract some big names. It is believed that Lacazette is attracting serious interest there and he could become their latest addition.

Alexandre Lacazette spent five seasons with Arsenal and was a key part of the team under Arsene Wenger, Unai Emery AND Mikel Arteta, for the most part. Ageing at 32 years old, moving to the Saudi Pro League is likely to be Lacazette's last transfer, but it would be a great opportunity.
