Let’s face it: Arsenal hardly need to reinvent the wheel.

The Gunners boast one of the youngest squads in the Premier League, have just scored a club-record number of goals (91), and conceded their fewest (29) since the Invincibles. Furthermore, 89 points represent the second-highest club total in the Premier League era, while a tally of 28 victories is also their best in that time frame.

Of course, none of that matters if you do not win the trophy, but it speaks to a team that is moving in the right direction and, year-on-year, has managed to gradually close the gap between themselves and Man City.

So, Arsenal definitely has the right people in the building and just needs to keep doing what they are doing. If they can, silverware is (surely) just around the corner.
