Jorginho has provided some comical relief to Arsenal supporters. He has revealed why he's laughing at Erling Haaland ahead of the Man City vs Arsenal clash.

The spirits are certainly high at Arsenal and understandably, given their recent win over Tottenham Hotspur. However, Mikel Arteta sees this as one obstacle out of three pushed aside this week.

After all, Arsenal still have tough away fixtures against Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League and Man City in the Premier League before this week is over.

It is an action packed week and a direct result of the UEFA Champions League format changing, meaning two additional group games are implemented this season.

So, why exactly is Jorginho laughing at Erling Haaland in the builup?

Well, if you can't cry, you have to laugh. Jorginho has spoken like every Arsenal fan in claiming that watching Erling Haaland score week-in, week-out, you simply have to laugh.

Speaking to the media, Jorginho said: "Erling scoring again ... it is starting to make us laugh, we look because we watch all the games and we love the Premier League."

It is a hilarious contrast to his Arsenal teammate Ben White, who chooses to relax from football in a different way... By not watching it in his spare time.

Jorginho is very experienced in the game and he has played against Man City many times, not only for Arsenal but also his former club who shall not be named.

However, despite being aware of Erling Haaland's goals (they're pretty hard to avoid, let's face it), Jorginho has claimed that Arsenal are not fearful about coming up against him.

In his own words, Jorginho continued: "We watch [City] as well, which is normal. It doesn't get to our head... Keep believing in what you are doing. I think we are on the right way."

Every time Arsenal beat Tottenham is a good time. However, there was something quite satisfying about the recent North London Derby.

The odds were against Arsenal, given their losses of Mikel Merino, Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice in the midfield. However, they stuck to the plan and capitalised on their limited chances.

Now, they head into the Man City fixture full of confidence. Gabriel Maglahaes and William Saliba are the best centre-back partnership in the world, so they are capable of isolating Erling Haaland, like they did across both fixtures last season.
