As the 2024 summer transfer window fast approaches, Mikel Arteta has some key decisions to make. Some decisions make themselves but others require a deeper thought process. That said, Pain the Arsenal will grade the entire Arsenal squad, applying a "keep, sell or loan" tag to each Arsenal player.
Keep, loan or sell? Grading Arsenal squad before the 2024 summer transfer window
Goalkeepers
David Raya - Keep. This one goes without saying and it is the easiest to predict. David Raya is not a permanent Arsenal player but it is more than likely he will remain at Arsenal next season, signing permanently after his loan expires. He has become the number one option under Mikel Arteta this season.
Karl Hein - Keep. Depending on whether Arsenal sign a backup goalkeeper, Hein's squad role could step up from next season. The 22-year-old is yet to make a Premier League appearance for Arsenal but he has shown good potential. His contract will need extending but I think Arsenal should offer him a new contract, rather than shell out unnecessary money on a backup.
Aaron Ramsdale - Sell. Needless to say, the sale of Aaron Ramsdale will be a tough one to take but it is inevitable as summer approaches. He was a key catalyst to getting Arsenal back on the right track and he didn't put a foot wrong, Arteta just prefers Raya nowadays.
