Declan Rice (DM) - 9/10 - Arteta's fire extinguisher was everywhere. He popped up across the backline to put out a multitude of fires, and his recovery running spared Zinchenko's blushes at the start of the second half. It was Rice who introduced some calm to proceedings after his side had taken a battering early on in the second period.

Martin Odegaard (CM) - 6.5/10 - The skipper wanted to take control and responsibility in a tough environment, which is worth commending, but his influence wasn't unanimously positive.

Kai Havertz (CM) - 6/10 - Given what his role was, this certainly wasn't a great showing from Havertz. Rarely did he have success in the air.
