3. Rasmus Hojlund vs Gabriel
Does anyone remember that penalty incident between them at the Emirates....?
After a rich vein of mid-season form, Rasmus Hojlund has stuttered again of late and will probably (hopefully) get little change out of the Arsenal defence.
Gabriel will be leading that imperious unit this weekend, and he represents an ideal candidate to frustrate the big Dane. Few defenders can rival Hojlund physically quite like ‘Big Gabi’ or match him for speed when bearing down on goal, while the excellent understanding shared by our centre-back duo should greatly limit his chances of making an impact.
Still, it is no easy task despite the demoralised opposition, as Hojlund can drop deep and try drag the Gunners out of position. Additionally, his pace and striking instincts could easily see him drift into dangerous, goal-scoring areas, so Gabriel needs to stay on guard in order to protect the clean sheet.
Our no.6 loves to celebrate a tackle, and another celebration-worthy effort here could be very important for the goal-difference stakes.
