PITA's 2024/25 Premier League predictions: Title winners, top four & relegation
- 2024/25 Premier League season gets underway on Friday night
- Arsenal expected to tussle Manchester City at the top
- Newly promoted teams set to struggle
It's that time of year again, people.
We're in this industry because we like to think we know little about the game. So I have no idea why we expose ourselves as frauds year-on-year with our pre-season predictions! Projecting this cesspit of a division is always a futile and humbling task.
The 2024/25 Premier League season, like any other, promises plenty, and there's hope it could be particularly special for Arsenal, who continue to chase that elusive title. How confident are we over the Gunners' heading into the new campaign?
Here are the PITA team's 2024/25 Premier League predictions for you all to laugh at!
Title winners
James Cormack: Man City - Arsenal will be there or thereabouts, but have not yet done quite enough in the transfer market to usurp this great City team. I will never bet against Pep Guardiola.
Adam Schultz: Arsenal - After getting so close last season, it's hard to go past Arsenal. Plus, it feels that over the last two seasons, City's aura of invincibility seems to have dissipated.
Kenneth Daly: Man City - The jinx is in place.
Jak Netting: Arsenal - Mikel Arteta’s men have come close in recent seasons. But with the instability surrounding Manchester City, and Arsenal’s acquisition of Riccardo Calafiori - there is every reason to believe that the Gunners can end their 21-year wait for a Premier League title.
Lennie Teague: Arsenal - this will finally be the year they beat Man City to the title. Mikel Arteta is so close to having his dream team and I feel they'll do enough to pip Pep's side to the league.
Affan Khan: Arsenal - This is the year we finally bring it home - that's the 3rd consecutive year of saying this now. Could it end the same way? Maybe. But Arsenal's form since January has been incredible - cut out some odd results and there's a good chance the Gunners claim the title.
