Top four

James Cormack: City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham - I'm expecting a two-horse race at the summit with Arne Slot's Liverpool sitting in a comfortable third. It'll be a dogfight for fourth spot, but Ange Postecoglou's teams typically improve in year two and Spurs will beat out the likes of Newcastle and Man Utd.

Adam Schultz: Arsenal, City, Liverpool, Chelsea - The top three appear set for me and I can't see Villa who will now have European competition make top four again. Chelsea loom as a "best of the rest" for me, although I'm not confident in that pick... AT ALL.

Kenneth Daly: City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham – If Arsenal do not win it themselves, then a third consecutive runner-up ‘prize’ is surely on the cards. Then, pre-season form suggests Liverpool will reclaim their Champions League spot next year and, sadly, I expect Sp*rs to take advantage of an Aston Villa slump (even if the Villans have bought well this summer…).

Jak Netting: Arsenal, City, Liverpool, Man Utd - City will be in the title fight until the very end, and so are all-but-assured of their place in the top four. Liverpool, although in transition, have a setup which should be easy for most of their players to adapt to, and the calibre of their team should achieve a top four finish with relative ease. Manchester United round off the top four, perhaps by virtue of issues plaguing other teams, but ten Hag’s men should just about have enough to get it done.

Lennie Teague: Arsenal, City, Liverpool, Tottenham - I hate to say it but I can see Spurs going step further this season by qualifying for the Champions League. Liverpool will finish third but will be nowhere near the top two of Arsenal and Man City.

Affan Khan: Arsenal, City, Liverpool, United - I think there'll be a considerable gap between the top two and the rest. While I like Arne Slot, Klopp's farewell last season brought an energy that ultimately papered over the squad's cracks. I do think they'll snatch third given their quality, but not quite in the title race. As for United, I've been impressed with some of their transfer business so it wouldn't shock me if they squeezed into the top four.
