Arsenal have had a stellar 2024 in the Premier League. After thrashing Sheffield United 6-0 last night, the Gunners have kept their pace in the title race. One team who hilariously could not keep up with their title race is Tottenham Hotspur, who had a short-lived time at the top of the Premier League table before everybody forgot about them.

Well, Arsenal fans have been given a pretty good reason to remember the team they are 11 points ahead of. Strap in Gunners, you're going to like this one...

According to a report by Record (via The Sun), Tottenham are interested in signing Morten Hjulmand and they have even sent out scouts to watch the 24-year-old in action for Sporting Lisbon. What's hilarious, though, is that Morten Hjulmand is a known Arsenal fan who even has a tattoo of the club crest on his left arm.

Should Tottenham sign Morten Hjulmand, then he may wish to remain with his t-shirt on at all times in the dressing room to avoid revealing his true colours.

Furthermore, the report states that Hjulmand has liked Arsenal ever since he was a youngster and even idolised Patrick Vieira who played in the same position he does now.

Quoted by The Sun, Morten Hjulmand said: "My dad supported Arsenal and we watched games together when we were younger."

Given that Arsenal are a massive club, there are probably many secret fans who play for rival clubs. However, this is a different level of humour, given that Hjulmand's love for the club reaches the extent of dedicating his left arm in the club's honour. Should he sign for Spurs which he probably isn't in favour of, then it could make for some interesting North London derby chants next season.
