Declan Rice - 7/10 - Despite receiving a very early yellow card (inside the opening two minutes), Rice was still able to command the midfield and cause problems for the hosts. The Gunners' record signing completed three tackles and interceptions and played a huge role in the team's general defensive solidity.

Kai Havertz - 6/10 - It would be difficult to describe Havertz's performance against Porto as inspirational, but he was far from the worst player on the pitch. Boasting an 89% pass completion rate, as well as winning 100% of his aerial duels, he certainly offered a lot but just proved ineffective in attack, which was a problem for the Gunners in the game.
