22. Emile Smith Rowe

Arsenal fans might not like to hear this but from a macro perspective, Emile Smith Rowe does not appear good enough. Previously one of the club's best players, his unfortunate injury last season left him wilting on the treatment table and the team seems to have progressed without him. Another season goes by where Emile Smith Rowe fails to get on the score-sheet.

21. Reiss Nelson

Reiss Nelson made 15 Premier League appearances this season but unfortunately for him, 14 of those came from the bench. Of course, competing for a place in the starting eleven with Bukayo Saka is not easy but Nelson did not produce a goal return in those appearances, despite forcing an own goal against Luton in his only start.

20. Aaron Ramsdale

Although it wasn't his own doing, it was a season to forget for Aaron Ramsdale. The England international goalkeeper was forced out of the starting eleven by new signing David Raya. It appears to be Ramsdale's final season, since he is far too good to be an unused backup option.
