8. Bob Wilson

The epitome of a one-club man (if you exclude his amateur days with Wolverhampton Wanderers), Bob Wilson must surely be considered an Arsenal legend. The goalkeeper made 310 league appearances between the sticks for Arsenal, beginning his tenure in 1963 and retiring at Arsenal eleven years later in 1974.

He won the First Division (later renamed the Premier League) and the FA Cup during his 11 year stint as Arsenal shot-stopper.

7. Cliff Bastin

One of the best wingers to ever play for Arsenal, Cliff Bastin is a no-brainer in this list. Former Arsenal manager Herbert Chapman noticed a young winger in Bastin at Exeter City and signed him in 1929. He then spent 18 years with Arsenal, eventually retiring at the club in 1947.

Winning five First Division titles and two FA Cups, Bastin will be remembered at Arsenal football club forever. Oh, his 150 league goals also make for pretty impressive viewing.
