This current crop of Arsenal players are quite something, eh?

I must admit, it's refreshing to see Arsenal back in the title race and pretty consecutively, as they have been for the past two seasons. This time out, it is much closer with three teams battling at the top and since the Gunners are in third, all they must do is keeping winning their games, which they have been doing in some style.

In the last seven Premier League games since the turn of 2024, Arsenal have scored a whopping 31 goals, only conceding three. It's been a joy to watch and Arsenal fans wish it will continue until the end of the season, regardless of results around them.

Last night, the Gunners thumped six goals past Sheffield United but in all honesty, it could've been double digits had it not been for a slowed down approach to the second half. Credit to the Blades for that, since they did well to barricade the game much more in the second period.

“Second to none” Arsenal star player gets nod of approval from Thierry Henry

Speaking ahead of the game, Gunners legend Thierry Henry praised one Arsenal player in particular. He was reflecting on the performance against Newcastle United. Notably, he praised the skipper Martin Odegaard for his work off the ball, a trait which often goes overlooked for the Norway international.

In his own words (quoted by TBR), Thierry Henry said: “I’m going to point at Kai Havertz. He does ever so well. Odegaard again, every time we talk about him, on the ball. What he does off the ball is second to none.”

Could you imagine an Arsenal team with both Thierry Henry and Martin Odegaard? Wow. If you think Arsenal's goal-scoring form in 2024 is impressive, then imagine how many assists the current captain could provide for the former captain.
