Declan Rice (CM) - 8/10 - Rice was intent from the get-go on finding the back of the net, and this was not a performance we've grown accustomed to seeing from the midfielder. He evolved into this playmaker-cum-box crashed at Bramall Lane. Got his wish when Saka found him on the edge of the area before half-time.

Jorginho (CM) - 7/10 - Had a role to play in the first goal with a neat pass around the corner. The Italian impressed without the ball and circulated possession swiftly in tight spaces. Hit and miss when delivering over the top.

Martin Odegaard (CM) - 9/10 - Odegaard's utilisation in a deeper position has been the making of this Arsenal side. The more he gets the ball, the more wonderful the Gunners are. This was a first half masterclass.
